The Super-value CT (SVCT) Onboard Rotating Processor (ORP) Board is used with diagnostic imaging systems. The ORPSV (ORP for SVCT system) provides a central communication point for rotating subsystems in the scanner. It interfaces with the slip ring assembly and redirects necessary communication to other rotating subsystems. The ORPSV is powered with a 32-bit RISC (Reduced instruction set computer) processor with 64 Mega-bytes SDRAM and 4 Mega-bytes Flash memory. It is operated from +24VDC and has internal power supplies to step this input voltage down to the required voltages for proper operation. The ORPSV monitors all on-board operating temperatures and supply voltages. This board can be used with Revolution ACT Computerized Tomography systems.
