The XFD (eXtreme Fidelity Driver) Power Supply is an IGBT-based that is part of the XFD sub system of an MR system. The XFD-PS provides 3 power supplies to each of 3 switching gradient amplifiers in a system. Each XFA receives 200VDC and two 700 VDC supplies. The interface to the system is through the Gradient Processor (GP). The XFD-PS has a supper capacitor (the Electrical dual layer capacitor) with capacitance of 5F and this reduce the Input peak power. The power supply assembly also includes a Hoist Bracket for mounting purpose. The power supply is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit. The products high quality material helps to offer a reliable operation, efficient functioning and longer life span. This power supply can be used in medical system such as Brivo 355 and Optima 360 1.5T.
