The Absolute Multi-Turn Encoder comes as a part of radiography systems. The radiography systems are used for imaging method diagnosis using X-rays. The systems work on the principle where high velocity electrons, when interacted with the patient’s body, get their kinetic energy converted into electromagnetic radiation. The encoder is connected to a hollow shaft. The angular movement of the encoder is transferred to the shaft. It consists of a housing and flange. It is a multi-turn encoder, which gives a precise position. It is of absolute type in a binary code. It comes as a part of the medical equipment such as XR Definium 6000, 8000, XR Discovery XR650, XR656, XR Optima XR646 and Performa.
