This Remote Infared Hand Switch is installed on a Mobile Radiography product with the kit which includes: Receiver Unit with mounting hardware, Remote Transmitters (including 9 volt alkaline battery), MOLEX Modular Adapter, IDC Connectors (Scothlok 905), Cradle, Technical Information Manual (where applicable) and User Information Manuals. The transmitter and receiver unit is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), a thermoplastic material which provides good chemical resistance, thermal stablility, toughness and strength. The remote transmitter uses infrared technology and comes with a collimator and exposure switch while a remote receiver provides a system status through LED indicators to confirm Power On, IR Beam Receive, Rotor On and Exposure Start indications. This device confirms to the applicable safety standards and can be used with Definium AMX700 systems.
