This Axial Fan Assembly is a thermal management device which can be used in cabinets of different assemblies. All electronic devices such as computers and other circuitry generate heat during operation, and require good thermal management to prevent premature failures. In this axial fan assembly, air will flow through it in an axial direction, parallel to the shaft about which the blades rotate. The fan requires 12 Volt DC power supply to provides good airflow rate up to 118 CFM for faster air circulation and produces low noise even at 3200 RPMs. The UL94-V0 rated plastic housing of this fan offers excellent dimensional stability, good impact strength and it comes with 4 mounting holes which makes it easy to install in assemblies.This Fan assembly can be used for thermal management purposes in the Thunder Personal Computer (PC) Collector Assembly in GE's Definium 8000 X-Ray System. The fan will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
