The Pivot Unit Fan comes as a part of a radiographic system used for imaging method diagnosis using X-rays. A stream of electrons produced by X-ray tube are accelerated to high velocities by an external high-voltage supply and collide with the target anode in the tube. The beam formed is focused on patient and X-rays emerging from the patient carry the image information which can be stored on a film. The X-ray cabinets contain high voltage circuits for generating and controlling X-rays. The fans are located inside these cabinets. They are used to cool the electronic equipment in the cabinets. The components include a motor, electrical connectors, blades and bearings. They are pivoted at the top of the cabinets and remove hot air out of the cabinets. They enable circuit boards and power supply to run at an optimum temperature. They also contribute to the extension of life of the components by maintaining low temperature in cabinet.
